Dark Psyence is Vasilis Tsakalos, a.k.a. Billy GOA-head. Born in 1979 in Crete & raised up almost everywhere in Greece, mostly in Leykada island (10 years).
Everything started at the age of 11, when he started listening to metal music.. In the 90's he was crazy about thrash - black - death metal, but he also liked trance, techno &psychedelic trance (since 1995).. He fell in love with psychedelic in 1996, when a friend brought a CD with Transwave's Land of Freedom Rmx.. He started collecting psy trance CDs & vinyls like a maniac, going to parties.. Of course without having lost the love about metal. In 1998 he formed a project with 2 friends, named Inavah &started experimenting with music.. The project stopped in 2000. At 2001 he started having drum lessons (metal style mostly) &making his own music.
He has produced some techno, acid, noise, electro, EBM, trip-hop psytrance trax, but the last 3 years he finally got serious & started searching how to mix his 2 loves (extreme metal & psy trance) into one, so he's been devoted to dark psychedelic trance...
