A post punk band formed in 2006 but has been in some form exisited since 1998. The two founding members grew up in the same small town in Ohio. Mostly fueled by alcohol we just got drunk and wrote songs and jammed. Or someone would on their own time write a song and bring it to practice. The songs back then usually had a base in horror movies(misfits influence) or things of that nature some were just about anything we could think of at the time. The band went through several name changes during this time from The Castaways to The Dead Enraged .Maybe we will post up some old songs from that time in the future so you can hear it . Then we kind of faded only practicing once every two to three months as we had no place to facilitate our musical desires. We practiced anywhere we could in friends garages in barns anywhere even in our own backyards with extension cords. We then found a lead singer with a place to practice and formed a band called The Fallen. This band lasted roughly two years with the last year having the full lineup. We played a few gigs in the area. As we were mostly a Misfits and Samhain tribute band with a set list that consisted of few originals the music was lost on the people that had not been exposed to that genre of punk music. We soon lost our place to practice again and the singer found an old school that was used as a haunted house in Autumn to practice in. It wasnt long before personal relationships in the band became strained. I think everyone had a different direction they wanted to go and in the end it overpowered any loyality to The fallen. With constant problems with song choice and arrangements a falling out was inevitable. The drummer left the band and the guitar player soon followed suit. The Fallen played one last gig with just the singer and bass player playing acoustic guitar in October 2005. As it had been the drummer Andy R and the guitar player Rex M that had started The Fallen it wasnt long after the decay of that band that they were talking about a new project that would become ERASEZERO. With the drummer locking a place down to practice of his own we started writing songs and recording. As of currently we are building our songlist to about 30 or 40 songs most of which will be originals and we will release a Ep hopefully within next year. That will contain a few interesting covers and are own artwork ideas. We will post up the demo versions of certain songs as we make progress they will be bare bones recordings with little to no effects as they are in pre mix form but will give you a chance to hear it before the final Ep is ready. Along with that we will see about posting some old originals from about 8 or 9 years ago for the ones that have supported us in our endeavors.
