About Me

The founding of the website pose.is has a long story behind it. Ingvar and Hallli who have for a long time been the masterminds behind Icelands most popular blog-site www.tveir.is are also behind this one. They began taking a digital camera with them during the weekends to capture on film Iceland..s infamous nightlife. The small site they started publishing their pictures on became a liability because it was simply to small for the traffic it was receiving. They started expanding plans and this site www.pose.is was the result of their planing. This site is supposed to more accessible for the user and more graphicly advanced. It also has a feature who makes it possible for both Iceandic people and english speaking viewers to read and enjoy the website.

I'd like to meet:

Our first event, New Years Party Pose.is at Hverfisbarinn 2005/2006. Hverfisbarinn takes 250 people and 500 tickets where sold for 2500 kr each. It was a 100% succes, just watch the photos!


Our second event a year later was another New Years Eve party. It was held at Club Pravda wich takes 500 people and 2000 people came by that night. Another success :)

Our third and our biggest event so far. Á Móti Sól is one of Icelands most popular bands and their singer Magni Rockstar is as you probably know world famos. They played with few other Icelandic artists. This is "Skólaball Pose.is" and is translated in english "Pose.is Prom" :)
