The Ironworks
The Ironworks is an exciting new music, theatre and arts
venue located in the center of Oswestry on the Shropshire/North Wales border.
Constructed early in the 19th century, The Ironworks is a grade II
listed building and has recently been restored in conjunction with the
Oswestry Townscape Heritage Initiative.
The programme of restoration has been extensive, resulting in a
spacious two-storey venue providing performance areas on two
floors. We offer a daytime continental cafe/bar, with a good but simple
menu utilising fresh produce sourced locally wherever possible.
As an evening venue the first floor is sensational with a cutting
edge music and multimedia system and a spacious yet intimate
atmosphere, we host a diverse mix of various artists and performers touring
the country as well as offering a showcase for local talent.
