JEWELZ from London has been given the big thumbs up by judges at the Live and Unsigned auditions. Jewelz have made it through and will now be performing at the live stages of Live and Unsigned 2009.
Competing against hundreds of auditionees on the day and over 10,000 nationally, Jewelz has now been given an opportunity to prove that they are the best in the region. Those who made it through the auditions will now take part in a live head to head battle in front of hundreds of audience members and a professional judging panel to win a place in the next round.
Live and Unsigned is a national music competition for unsigned acts to compete live. With over 10,000 registrations in 2008 it is the biggest music talent search for original acts in the UK. Live and Unsigned’s popularity comes from its reputation for encouraging originality. The acts taking part are commended for doing their own thing; being individual, original and performing their own genre and style live!One contestant who has evidently caught the judge’s eyes is local talent Jewelz, now competing for a place in the National finals with the possibility of grabbing that break through recording and management contract with Future Music with an investment of up to £20,000 to release their single.The winners will be thrust into the media spotlight through television, radio and the press and furthermore all winners will all be invited on the UK Live and Unsigned Tour.
