About Me

Well what can I say about me...I started playing guitar when I was 12. I had three years of lessons with a guy named Micheal Hutzel. I played guitar for fun for 10 years before I decided to study music. Actually only my guitar playing was good enough to go to college so i had to take summer class about classical theory and solfege. then a was accepted and studied for two years classical guitar with Claude Reid at Vincent d'Indy. I learned how to write and read music notes. It was in fact really hard but it was fun because every small melodic patern that we learned made me rember a tune. I then got interested in composition because i could now write what i was playing. I decided to continu on my classical journey to university of montreal. There i studied classical guitar with Peter McCutchion, while spending some time to write original music for other instruments then guitar. After i while i started to reallize that i was getting i little depressed in the classical music world. Then I started playing back on my electric guitar and I realized that I had aquired a really strong technique and I was now able to play Van Halen and Satriani's style. What could please me more then that, become a real guitar hero. I decided to quit my classical music training to focus more on my own interests and went to another university in a pop/jazz music program. I went to UQAM. It was a good move for me because classical music rules comes from piano playing and I'm a guitarist. Two different harmonic instruments that gives different harmony rules. It helped me free my mind form music sheet and musical rules to listen to what's really important in music, the emotion that it brings to people, the magical link between the person who listen and the one who plays. Music is the art of placing sound together. Around that time I also started to teach guitar and music theory in privates music schools. Its nice to show interested people how the instruments works. After that i started to get equiped and I started to record myslef, that's what you can hear in here. I hope one day i can live only from and for my music... lol I'm also learning all the electronics behind electric guitar and modern music and shows so all an happy living that I have...LONE THE GUITAR HERO
