At the age of 8 Rachelle born and raised in West London knew she was very much into creative writing and has though keen on poetry Rachelle realized her creative focus was songwriting and singing, a dream that she would transform into a reality.Rachelle attended a Saturday Stage School that she very much enjoyed; and has done a bit of acting in programmes such as ‘The Friday Night Armistice’ and ‘Grange Hill’ in both she played supporting roles. Also, as part of a collective for ‘VJ Day’ she sang in front of the queen in memory and much respect of all the soldiers fighting in the war at the time that were involved. A music video featured in a film is one of the other many things this artist has done.*SINGER/SONGWRITER*Now in her early twenties Rachelle has performed live backing vocals for solo artist Sharifa a UK Artist known for her feature in the track ‘cry’ with Swiss from So Solid. Rachelle has done backing for Sharifa in performing in London and Manchester as well as performing to a huge audience in Jamaica’s mass camp located in New Kingston along side her father (DJ Trinity) who is known for his Dj’ing in the seventies and early 80’s including the track ‘Three Piece Suit’ re-released by Althea and Donna. Rachelle’s father ‘Trinity’ worked alongside many artists in this time and featured on many 12 inch records. With Rachelle’s uncle ‘Clint Eastwood’ an artist known for tracks popular in the 80’s including ‘Stop That Train’ and ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ featuring artist ‘General Saint’ popular in the 80’s it is clear to see that the talent runs deep in the family especially in the lyric department.In 2006 Rachelle though having worked with a number of producers and unsigned artists started working on her solo project at CMS Studio’s with producer John Miller where she revived her lyrics previously written turning them into what she calls her “Music Love Bible.â€This artist has a unique voice and style. When listening to her tracks you can hear a mixture of Soul, Pop and R&B with catchy hooks that leave you infected with the melody, personality and lyrics the tune carries bursting with clues to the different obstacles life has thrown at her (mainly love) and the lessons learned.Rachelle listens to a very wide range of music, which is why her sound is so unique and versatile.
Her motto is “I’ll listen to anything as long as it sounds good†however the main genre she listens to is Pop, R&B, Old Skool Garage, Reggae, Lovers Rock and Soul.I can only say this artist has a strong stage presence about her that makes you want to dig deep.
