MIO MUSIC

MIO first started producing music in the early 90's using a MAC se, Roland W30 Synth and sequencing with Mastertracks Junior. After a long break in 2002 MIO left Australia for London in pursuit of a full time music career.The novelty of living in London in winter soon wore off and a decision was made to buy a one way ticket to Ibiza. An entire studio was sent over and London seemed a world away. A 5 track demo CD was written in a two month period. These tracks are still unsigned and completely unique in todays market. MIO decided to take a break from full time production and flew to Japan to reflect on the future and the next stage. While in Japan a decision was made to return to Australia, setup a new studio and create a new and unique sound.MIO returned to OZ on the 1st of September 2003. Purchase and setup of the new studio was completed by March 2004 and production commenced. A dozen instrumental tracks were developed but something was missing - a voice and lyrics that complemented and captured the vibe and emotion of the beats and melodies. After extensive auditions a singer called Nikkie was discovered and the tracks came to life. Further engineering was done to the tracks, and final completion was in November 2005 - they are now ready for promotion and licensing.
