About Me

Noiret’s new music proposal
With the beginning of the new century, the curtain opens on new sounds formed from the fusion of different musical types and trends. Rock is mixed with classical music, pop with ethnic sounds, dance music with opera….. Noiret musical preparation comes from a variety of backgrounds and experiences ranging from rock to soul, from dance to world music. This has given him the inventive drive required to create new sounds that are easy listening yet sophisticated.
The unusual make-up of the band used by Noiret in the recording studio as well live on stage demonstrates an original and courageous departure in the music business; the introduction of melodic percussion instruments such as the vibraphone and marimba which up until now have never been considered fundamental for making pop music. A very personalised musical arrangement, created expressly for them, amalgamated with the drums and Noiret’s haunting voice give vitality and energy as well as originality to the performance. Noiret’s new and original pop music proposal has all it takes to be an artistic and commercial success: variety, dynamics, vitality and last but not least, stage presence.
Waiting for a new album
The new single entitled “Red beach” was inspired by a summer vacation Noiret spent on one of his favourite destinations, the Mediterranean island of Crete. The single, composed, arranged and produced by the artist himself is the prelude to a new album soon to be released. The unique format used to record it features Noiret on vibraphone and vocals, backing singers, a bass marimba, and a treble marimba as well as a variety of drums and percussion instruments. The musicians taking part in the recorded performance were Davide Merlino, Matteo Maffi and Matteo Erigoni with Eliana Gaglione and Maria Olivero on vocals. The album was recorded entirely in the open-air and it contains a number of ‘natural’ background noises provided by key-board player and arranger Vinicio Crivelletto. The album was mixed by Daniele Grasso at “The Cave” Studios in Catania. Last but not least the graphics for the album cover were created by Amanda Gusella.
The soft, seductive sounds, the tuneful melodies and the catchy songs it contains enchant the listener. This singular take on acoustic pop music and the new age feel of the vocals form the basis of the artist’s soon-to-be released album which will hypnotise the listener with its strong emotional impact. This new musical departure may, at first, seem unusual and hard to classify as belonging to any particular genre, but the more you listen, the more you will be swept away by a type of music that has its own new and very personal identity.
