They call it liquid handcuffs;they say i'll b its slave. they tell me it might even put me in a early grave. "Methadone" is evil", they say it rots your bones; to pay ur clinic fee u will hav 2 tak out several loans. they say that all my feelings will b numb as numb can b, the normal ups & downs of life wont register to me. they say i'll stand in line w/ dealers & the junkie. and on my back, i'll carry a mean methadone monkey. They really do confuse me, i no they CANT b right. cuz of METHADONE im goin to my warm snug home to tuck in my sweet baby girls tight. and kiss my GABE goodnite. My home is now filled w/ LOVE, & LAUGHTER; my loved ones now by my side; and now I finally able to b WIFE, MOTHER, & GUIDE. To trust in me they're able, they no that i'll b there; of cravings and of misery, I no longer aware. I go to work each day and bring my paycheck back for food & clothes and playthings, my girls no longer lack. I no longer feel so sad, depressed & blue each day; I used to feel that using just ONE MORE TIME would beat living that way. But now i feel happy & a joy i can extol; My mind which didnt function right has now been made whole. SO, PLEASE BEFOR YOU TELL ME METHADONE'S SO BAD... just ask my family, how they feel, now that they got their MOMMY & EMILY back; they've gone from sad to glad.
