I am an all Italian Cane Corso. Born on June 6, 2006. Google says "The Cane Corso is Very loyal, willing to please and quiet around the house. He is highly intelligent and very trainable. They are protective yet gentle. The Cane Corso has a very stable temperament. It makes an excellent guard dog and watchdog. It will not wonder from the home. They stick close to their masters. If necessary he becomes a terrible and brave protector of people, house and property. The Cane Corso is not a fighting dog. They were bred as working dogs for hundreds of years. Therefore they will not go out "looking" for a fight, but on the other hand they will not back down from other dogs." My master will tell you that I have already proven myself twice in my life and I am only 23 months old. My master and I were almost attacked by a full grown Rottweiler that jumped it's fence and came after us when I was only 6 months old. I quickly put the Rottweiler on the ground but never hurt her just to let her know that she would never touch my master. She was much calmer when she got back on her feet and did not dare growl or bark at us again. I had began guarding my master against anything else that might come after us long before she was able to get off the ground and figure out what had just happened to her. Could your 6 month old puppy protect you against a 110 pound Rottweiler charging you? At 7 months I stopped a very cowardly man from trying to kill his girlfriend. He was beating her head into the tile floor and choking her. I would have killed him myself had my master let me go however my threats from a leash were enough to stop him and convince him to stay away from my master, the girl, and the house. When the police arrived one of them remarked that "He wouldn't fight that dog would he?" Not bad for a 7 month old puppy huh? So you might be thinking I am a mean dog? Everywhere I go I draw a crowd. I love attention and will allow anyone to adore me as long as my master knows they are there and does not have a problem with them. I will love and lick you to death until I feel you are challenging me or have bad intentions (such as a bum asking for money). You will know very quickly that I will not put up with any nonsense. As for my family...they give me kisses, blow in my face, eat my food, w/e they want. They are my family. I would never hurt them but I will destroy you if you ever tried.
