About Me

I'm a computer scientist working and living in Ottawa Canada, a lover of cartoons, a huge fan of democracy (Steven Paiken rocks), a taoist (closest description of my personal religion to date).I'm mostly creating this space related to a whimical paranormal psychic experiment I'm running.I am curious. Is there any psychic stuff? Is it simply a matter of coincidence and probability as the skeptics say?First I have a mind reading test. This version uses dice and cards. Well the first one does anyway. Based on responses from people, I may simply it. I don't like this idea of psychic cards much but I'll look into that. I prefer read playing cards and they are more fun.Second I have a prediction test

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The girl of my dreams. Sadly I never remember my dreams so I'm kind of trying to find somebody I can strike a connection with. I hope she likes Ottawa. Sometimes my city is boring but it is safe. (Not too many crazy people around here doing paranormal experiments.)In general I like to meet people from all around the world, especially open minded creative ones. This goal i've achieved and continue on.I've talked with some of the humblest means and some of the most powerful within my little country.

My Blog

Calibrating my card analysis technique

Willing to guess 3 dice 5 cards before april 1?

The woes of a amateur "paranormal" researcher? Well, trying to find test subjects. Anyway, here's what you got to do? Simply tell me what you think 3 dice and 5 cards might possibly be. I've chosen em...

Using Monto Carlo Simulation Techniques to estimate expected results

The Monto Carlo Technique is a method of estimated things by using random results. The idea is that if you run the experiment often enough you will get a good approximation assuming your random number...

Experiments to Compare Psychic ability to Coincidence? Why is Silly Science valid?

I'm neutral on the psychic thing. Well, ok, I dated somebody who was into it and I'm a romantic at heart. But anyway, I read two interesting books over the years that come to mind. One discussed "usel...
