It was crisp and cool, the moon was full and high. I cannot describe the beauty of the tree that stood before us. It was a tree you had to climb, be in, be a part of.I have spent endless hours in the park, and love it. However, one thing could make me love it even more: If the park was free of trash. Every time I go, I see trash ranging from gum wrappers and cigarettes to huge barrels.East Fork is neither an endangered area, nor is it different from our back yards. We need to keep it clean. In stark contrast is John Bryan State Park. The Little Miami River runs through both, but John Bryan is more beautiful. The sole reason East Fork isn't as scenic is trash. The community needs to save East Fork. The first step towards improvement is to visit. The second step is to stop leaving empty bait containers and beer bottles. The third step is to pick up trash already there. By taking these simple steps we can save and enjoy East Fork State Park.Paul DurhamPost Creek RoadBatavia
