Right now I am playing Mrs. Fix-It remodeling our house. Well, Michael does most of the work, but I am not opposed to throwing on my tool belt and getting dirty with him! ;)We make a good team.
Other than that, I love spending time with my honey. I am family and friends oriented, and I definitely thrive when surrounded by the people I love the most. My family is huge, and it also includes the handful of my closest friends whom I treasure dearly. I love children and animals! I love the outdoors, especially outdoor concerts and festivals, sunsets, etc. I miss all the foods I gave up when I started watching my fat and cholesterol intake. Ignorance was bliss before I had to watch that stuff! I do Yoga when I have time, enjoy spending time with our 4-legged children, listening to music, I take tons of photos, , and I love to play games, such as Foos-Ball, Uno, etc. I have a competitive streak, especially against my hubby! I love The BUCS, and of course- shopping!!!

I'm here to stay in touch with some old friends and family. I like meeting honest, down-to-earth people who don't play games, and who aren't all about the drama. I like to surround myself with positive people who can cut loose, have fun, and most of all LAUGH. I'm a sucker for comedy! At the same time, I believe that people need to know when to be responsible, hard-working, and have their priorities straight, especially if they have children. It's all about balance. I am a social person, and I love all kinds of activities. I have a problem with people who are liars, fake, jealous, two-faced, negative, selfish, and like to bring other people down. Life is too short for games- Be real. I have no room in my life for people who make me feel bad about myself, who are one-sided in a give and take relationship, and who give their friendship only with conditions. Maybe I have exceptionally high expectations, but true friends are supposed to be there unconditionally to love and support you. There is too much on my plate for me to try and please everyone, so I won't try. However, I will do anything within my power for any of my true friends and family. I have some truly wonderful people in my life! These are the people who stood by me during the toughest time in my life, and for that I am eternally grateful! The rest of the people who have turned their back on me, well they can kiss my ___! :)
Well I will always love the Classics- Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, (I could go on and on.) Most of the time I like to listen to a mix... Bob Marley, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas, 80's music (of course!!), some Techno, and even some country, mainly Toby Keith and Garth Brooks. Oh and I can't forget the perfect-hair bands of the 80's-90's...
I love comedies!! There are the classics- Clue, Money Pit, Spaceballs, Animal House- National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Matrix, all Austin Powers, Toy Story 1 and 2 (gotta love adult cartoons), The Sweetest Thing, Scooby Doo, etc. Then my husband has gotten me hooked on comic book movies...Fantastic 4, Daredevil, X-Men, Superman, etc. And of course I love suspense movies, that is until Michael figures it out and guesses the ending. I really have no desire to watch any horror movies. I have enough bad dreams to last me a lifetime. Oh and I almost forgot one of my all-time favs- Dirty Dancing!

I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I do it's 24, Smallville, Family Guy, Whose Line is it Anyways?, Nip Tuck, American Idol. I miss Friends and Sex and the City terribly. Also, I love Planet's Funniest Animals and America's Funniest Home Videos! Like I said, I like to laugh. We watch a lot of Discovery and Discovery Health too.

I love books by James Patterson. I highly recommend him if you like murder/suspense books. "Tales from the Bed" is an excellent, yet sad and inspiring, book. I am reading the "Maximum Ride" series by James Patterson now. Very good indeed!

My parents, for all that they have accomplished together, and for teaching me about working through anything with your spouse, through all thick and thin. Hard work pay offs. My mentor, Debi, for molding me into the person I am today. Without her influence, I'm not sure where I would be or who I would have become. My grandparents, for teaching me that you have to stick together when times get tough. You can't let bumps in the road get between your marriage. I think they know what they were talking about since they were married for 67 years...God Bless them. And most of all, my husband, for being the better half of me. Without him, I definitely wouldn't be whole, and I wouldn't be me. He is a strong, magnificent, and brave soldier. He is my number One Hero!
