Pushing Up Daisies are a five piece Metal band who hail from Whitby/Ajax, Ontario. With the ear piercing, gut wrenching vocals of Curtis Hartshorn, the shredding guitars of Nathan Hodgson and Justin Hartshorn, the heavy, technical bass lines of Brady Ibanez and the machine like precision drums of Jeff Donahue PUD burst onto the scene in 2006 playing shows all over Ontario. Over the course of two years they have played hundreds of shows, gained radio and television coverage and have released their debut EP entitled ‘Welcoming Convulsion’ which was recorded in Ajax, Ontario at Mobus Music with sound engineer Mark Jossul. The breakthrough EP features the hits ‘Gravedigger’ ‘Snuff’ and ‘Penance and Plagues’. They are extremely nice guys and stay in contact with their fans; do not be afraid to come up and talk to them at one of their shows. With their extremely gifted musicianship and energetic live performance Pushing Up Daisies are the epitome of Metal.
