Veteran Music Manager/Producer, Doc Smith has teamed up with Jay Welker CEO of Breakout Entertainment along with Joey Wagner, CEO J-Dub Entertainment & PRIME Lounge to form what they call "The Louisville Music Mafia" ... “a close- knit group of trusted associates who want to showcase and “street hit” the very best talent that our Derby city has to offer.” We chose the mafia angle not only for it’s historical presence in Louisville but also because we can put a positive spin on it and instead of keeping secrets like the 1920’s Mafia did, today we take the streets back. We make our mark, take our stand, and see to it that the best of the best are exposed. These three gentlemen have a combined 40 yrs experience in the Entertainment Business, Promotion, Production & Management. They have already brought together the likes of heavy hitters in Kentuckiana’s Entertainment Giants, along with Radio Personalities, TV Media, Film, Arts, Business Leaders, & Fashion Celebrities.According to Doc Smith, “this idea started as a fluke and has blown up into one of the fastest growing groups on Facebook with an impressive one-thousand plus members.” It’s a rare opportunity when artists get to network, get good resources, and collaborate like the Louisville Music Mafia will allow them to do. WiseSmith has produced their own TV/Radio programming in the 80's & 90's, & Co-Produced Musical Festivals such as Rock N Ride Music festival with over 200 Bands in performance with 38,000 in attendance.
2003-2007 WSG has helped produce and provide regional and local Artist for 4th Street Live Hot Country Nights, along with several other major events.Doc Smith CEO has owned & operated Club venues such as NewStar Country Palace, and produced a "Branson" type showcase. There he showcased local, regional, and up & coming National Artist. NewStar had the second largest dance floor in Kentuckiana and largest house band at that time.
Someone ask, "....how did he get the name "doc"? It was coined years ago by several in Nashville while developing young artist. He holds five earned degrees including a PHD.
Cathy Lynn VP of A&R & Artist Affairs has a multi-talented background having played & performed since age 4. She is an accomplished pianist, starting at the age of 4, & a talented singer. She recorded her first gospel album in 1985 with producer Russell Easter of the Easter Brothers.
She found herself loving behind the scenes more than on the front stage; though she is willing to assist from time to time in the studio for backup vocals. Having a keen perfect pitch ear for music, she is also quick to point out what a Artist is missing in light of the contemporary image needed in a competitive new age market, yet she holds true to classical traditions that help round a Artist's image & material.
Cathy Lynn has been ask to judge several talent contest for radio stations & special events. Some has coined the phrase, "...she is the female Simon Cowell of judges. Put her & Simon Cowell on the same panel & it would make the greatest Artist cringe at their critique". She is tough, but when one enters on stage she expects you to bring the goods, or step aside.

ECK, along with WiseSmith produced & directed Chamberflow's new video, which was produced on site in beautiful downtown Louisville. Kenneth Scott is one of the finest Directors in the business, & a first class act to work with on any project. ECK & WiseSmith has the Artist become a part of the creativity from the very beginning of the story board.
