Yes, Dear Entertainment Formed By Industry Vets
Music industry veterans Mike Gormley and Jolene Pellant have teamed up to form a new management/marketing/music publishing company. The firm is called Yes, Dear Entertainment.
Pellant was Vice President/Marketing for Live Nation.
Gormley has been President of L.A. Personal Development since 1987. Prior to that Gormley was partners with Miles Copeland in L.A. Personal Direction. Both were affectionately referred to as L.A.P.D.
Yes, Dear management clients already include buzz artist Quincy Coleman, new Danish/Greenlandic singer/songwriter Simon Lynge, singer/songwriter/actor and storyteller Ronny Cox.
On the marketing side Yes, Dear currently represents, among others Mediabase, the largest radio airplay monitor in North America, and Orsino Publicity who’s music program is heard in eighty-five arthouse movie theatre auditoriums around the country including the Laemmle Theaters, Angelika and City Cinemas.

Over the years Gormley has managed The Bangles, Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman, Concrete Blonde, Angelique Kidjo, Lowen & Navarro and many others. He had been Vice President and Assistant to the Chairman of A&M records prior to forming L.A.P.D.
Coming from the world of video editing and radio, Pellant eventually landed in the position of Director of Marketing and Promotions at Clear Channel/SFX/Avalon Attractions. In 2004, she was promoted to Vice President of National marketing, overseeing national marketing and working on tour marketing for such artists as, Aerosmith, Fiona Apple, Journey, Def Leppard, Damien Rice, Chicago, Stevie Nicks and many others. The company was eventually renamed Live Nation.
