back again, once more, finally!!!Sooooo much has happened... my band (Spellbinder) has recorded an ep/cd and it is due to be released by the end of May (cross fingers!)... very exciting and we can't wait!!! I have composed a piece of music, a setting of a verse written by a very dear friend of mine. She is an iconographer and has produced paintings in iconographic style (though not of icon subjects) which illustrate each verse and I have published the whole work in a book called 'Patterns of Light'. (please visit the website... www.patterns-of-light.co.uk to get an idea of how beautiful it is). So, this too is a very exciting project and already the book is selling well. To get a taster, look at my pics here on this site and you will see some examples from the books paintings and an extract from the music. Nick and I are looking forward to this years festivals, have just made the reservations for Shrewsbury and of course we will be doing our usual round of visits to Sidmouth, Dartmoor amongst others, and Chippenham of course!. Sidmouth will be even shorter for us this year as my eldest daughter is getting married in August, during Sidmouth week.... hmmmm.... didn't plan that one too well, eh? heh.... Meanwhile, there is all the other stuff to think about... work, running various businesses, going to the pub and getting well oiled no doubt, 'doing' the sessions and all the other lovely things that we do.
