BIO NOTES:G. M. is a DJ producer & audio engineer. He begins his DJ professional career in 1987 in Milan, spinning at disco KILLER PLASTIC. He plays along with with the most important DJs of the world, such as Todd Terry, Tony Humphries, Derrick May, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Ralphy Dee, Derrick Carter, Danny Tenaglia, Murk Team, Jeff Mills, Kevin Maurice Sanderson and with Italian colleagues Claudio Coccoluto, Leo Mas, J.T.Vannelli, Ralf, Frank’o Moiraghi, Ricky Montanari, Stefano D'Andrea, Massimino Lippoli, Mauro M.B.S., Ivan Iacobucci and many others. DJ in major discos like Peter Pan, Cocorico', Paradiso, Villa delle Rose in Riccione , Alter Ego in Verona, Club 06 in Rome, Black Empire, Le Rotonde Garlasco, Studio Due Torino, Vetronero Finale ligure, Covo S.M. ligure, Invidia, Kaja', Meccano' Firenze, Kama Kama Viareggio, Casa Rossa, Blue Zone Roma, Muretto Jesolo, Tendenza Firenze, Le Capannine Varese, Asylum, Farouk Versilia, Divine Follie Bari, Quartiere Latino Gallipoli, Renoir Bari and many others. In the following years he plays out of Italy, in Amsterdam , Rotterdam, London, New York, Detroit and Geneve. Graduated as sound technician at the professional music center C.P.M. by Franco Mussida. G.M. has been working as DJ and audio-technician within the most important Italian radio networks, RADIO CENTOUNO NETWORK, RADIO STATION ONE NETWORK, RADIO ITALIA NETWORK and currently at RADIO 24 IL SOLE 24ORE NETWORK.
Discographic adventure began in 1996 with the record STAR TRACK for DISCOMAGIC, followed by ALANIS MORISETTE remix ALANIS in WILDE, WHO LA- LA-LA on Dig-it label and MISSED PEOPLE on Dig-it in collaboration with DJ FARGETTA. In 1998 G.M. formes a partnership with the renowned record label JTCOMPANY and together produced DJ G.MATE' Pres: I NEED YOU - feat., MARY FADE and ALBA THE V, DREAM BEAT label, JUAN ESCOBAR - MUCHO CALOR for Dream Beat label, subsequently reprinted by MIGHTY (POLYGRAM), 2BFUNK feat: LOLITA BROWN, which is successful in American clubs and radios, and 2BFUNK 2001 on Clubbin label, 2BFUNK REMIX, has been remixed for the notorious dance label "SLIPE'N SLIDE " from London, and has reached the first ranks in the TOP HOUSE UK CHART. G.M has produced the soundtrack for the SAAB SPORT SEDAN TV spot. The record ETERNITY (is over me) on 909 label has reached the first ranks in the TOP TRACK on RADIO DEEJAY and has been played in all major Italian and international radios. In Spain it has entered the TOP 20 HIT chart. FEELING FUNK on Sounds good label, KING OF DISCO on CLUBBIN' label. Many tracks have been published on the international compilations like, WASH and GO SALVATION compilation, HIT-MANIA dance compilation, SLIP'N' SLIDE IBIZA Vol 2, TOP OF THE SPOT compilation, DJ POOL Vol 09 IBIZA compilation, VICTORY compilation, BOLERO MIX compilation, STEP 33 compilation, XACTOBEATS 022 compilation, HAORA 03 compilation, and many more. He also has collaborated with successful record labels like JTCOMPANY, DIG-IT, POLYGRAM, DISCOMAGIC, DARK MUSIC, RED MUSIC, SOUNDS GOOD, HITWAVE RECORDS, NO LIMITS, SLIPE'N'SLIDE (LONDON), DREAM BEAT, HITLAND RECORDS, POLYGRAM COMPANY, ZAC RECORDS, 909 RECORDS, CLUBBIN' REC., EDINETMUSIC, UNIVERSAL MUSIC FRANCIA.
GIORGIO R. is a DJ musician and audio engineer. He was born in CATANIA in 1984. Soon in his life he shows musical inclinations. His parents enrolled him at 4 years to a course of piano, then replacing the course of electronic organ. This instrument opened the road towards the world of digital sound, audio productions and the midi technology. In parallel with the study of music, he began the first radio experiences, realizing programmes of MIXMUSIC and deepening the passion for the production and the jingles. He worked for RADIO ANTENNA ONE in CATANIA as a DJ, for RADIO FUTURA NETWORK as the technicians' director, for RSC RADIO STUDIO CENTRALE as a post-production audio technician. He then moved to MILANO, where it started to collaborate with RADIO 24 IL SOLE 24 ORE.
In MILAN, G. M. and G. R. join professionally; sensibility between the two is immediate. They decide therefore to begin to work together: JOE AND JOE ALTERNATIVE MUSIC PRODUCTIONS was born.
