Cancer Crusaders is a non profit organization started in Mason Ohio. Two best friends, Angela Mason and Joy Wylds, whose lives had been touched by cancer and it's devastating effects decided they had to do something to help these families. The amount of time off work, medical bills, daily living costs and insurance co payments mount incredibly for these families during the battle of their lives. The need touched their hearts, and coming up against obstacles left and right, they set to work on planning an event. What started out as one has turned into several families, all with great need and great stories of triumph and hope.The organizations goal is to strictly help with the financial burden that cancer can create. Often times, it does not olny affect the person who has been diagnosed but the entire family. Bills gets postponed, appointments get missed, collection agencies get involved, and life in general gets put on hold as the family is dealing with the struggle and torment of cancer, it's effect, mentally, emotionally, physically and of course financially.
