I am a republic slightly less than twice the size of Colorado with a population of 60,656,178, I gained my independance from Clovis in 486 a.c.e. I have generally cool winters and mild summers, but mild winters and hot summers along the Mediterranean; I am occasionaly strong, cold, dry, and have a north-to-northwesterly wind known as mistral, I am mostly flat plains and gently rolling hills in my north and west; my remainder is mountainous, especially Pyrenees in my south, and Alps in my east, My natrual resources are coal, iron ore, bauxite, zinc, uranium, antimony, arsenic, potash, feldspar, fluorospar, gypsum, timber, and fish, I am currently experiencing some forest damage from acid rain; air pollution from industrial and vehicle emissions; water pollution from urban wastes, and agricultural runoff.
