The Kings hi-fi was first known as good karma sound system .The original crew was first a group of youth that met and connected in Lewes by there love of skate board, graffities,music and weed(good karma crew). 4 dj's stay aka mr finn and iriefresh aka don zebby,dj Task aka egg lord and G flex started to do illegal parties around Lewes area.After meeting a promoter called nick aka the Bush doctor they started a popular night in Brighton called Sunday sessions and nick became part of the crew playing a mix of reggae ,UK dub and ragga jungle. It wasn’t long till Good Karma Sound had a residency at Brighton’s biggest and most popular dance Strictly Reggae known before as Killer Riddim, the oldest reggae running night in Brighton, Here u can catch Kings HIFI and mc Trooper every mondays night. With Mr Finn ,don Zebby and Paul aka Inasound producing new dubs on a weekly basis, we are ready for action.Good karma split up around 2004 after The bush doctor left for Europe , MR FINN left and joined Litmus records,Gflex left to found bangers and mash. Good Karma Sound came back as Kings hi-fi with new souljahs like Culture B,mc trooper,silver,ras tali,shamma shark,guests from London and Brighton , 3 selectas of Good Karma Sound, many dubplates home made by our two producers, and still keeping the residency at strictly reggae on the top of our regular outings in europe with international artists and sounds like Dawn penn (JA),YT(UK),Half pint(JA), Kilimanjaro(JA),Aba Shanti I (uk),Chanel One (UK) and many more…..FOR BOOKINGS OF THE KINGS HIFI CONTACT :
