Welcome to the only official MySpace profile of Next Era Wrestling, one of the premier wrestling promotions in Western New York.Next Era Wrestling, or N.E.W. for short, was founded in June 2004 when it opened its training facility, The Den. Throughout the latter part of 2004 and early into 2005, competitors would step into the ring honing their skills. It was in October 2005 when N.E.W. held its first show, Ascension, which featured a special eight man tournament in which the winner was crowned the N.E.W. World Champion.Since the first Ascension show, N.E.W. has had much success, not only in the Rochester area, but others areas such as Buffalo, Lockport, Elmira, and more recently Niagara Falls. N.E.W. has even split into two entities, N.E.W. Central, based out of Rochester, and N.E.W. Niagara, based out of Niagara Falls. Both brands promise to bring you the best, high impact action from all of your favorite local superstars.In addition to all the great superstars from the Western New York area, N.E.W. has also brought in some of the biggest and best superstars of the past and present. Some of the starts brought in to entertain the many fans N.E.W. has include: "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Tito Santana, Honky Tonk Man, Al Snow, Jerry Lynn, LAX, Kamala, Johnny Devine, Matt Bentley, Koko B. Ware, Too Cool, Spanish Announce Team, Heart Throbs, and many more.N.E.W. also is looking for males and females who want to pursue the dream of being involved in the professional wrestling world.
