Death Masque

About Me

A corpse lying on a kitchen table, kept cold with ice. Families taking their first photographs with their loved ones only after their beloved had passed on. The use of clay to create a mask at the moment of death, this was the scene in America during the 1800’s, when the Victorian Cult of Death swept the world.

Such is the inspiration for Death Masque. . . A band brewed in an eclectic mix of shared musical tastes from folk to country from alternative to death metal.

Throw into the mix a hearty tribute to that drunken, music loving Southern gentleman Edgar Poe and you have begun to understand Death Masque.
