What about me? I'm hooked on phonics,cronic and music. I don't need phonics, and cant afford cronic so I stick with music. Always had it in me , always hear it in my head so I've stuck with it. Damn, 20 years is a long time. I remember when I attended BIT and got to ask Billy Sheehan in one of his clincs" how the hell he got so fast and so fluid with his right hand technique". he said "look son, I was 18 at the time, how long you been playing?" I said 4 years all proud that I could say 4 and not just 1 or 2. He said :I've been playing 20 years and when you keep going for that long you can do just about anything."Well I'm still no Billy Sheehan but I could do a good impersonation. I've gone from Progressive "Shrapnel" Metal, to Thrash, to Death Metal, to the obligatory 90's Pantera/Sepultura clones, and now I'm back where I truley started from even before I could play an instrument. I'm doing this groovy throw back sounding music with Circa69. Its like a 60's/70's vibe with the guitar and vocals and total new school rythm section. Check it out under music.
