Total extremist, work hard and play hard. Can be intense at times as my work invovles an interplay of business, politics and science. So creative outlets involve indulging every now and then, traveling and rendezvouing with friends in foreign lands. At one point I took the BMW's slogan "the ultimate driving machine" a little too seriously, so push the extremes to get that reality check.Originally from the LA area, attended Bosco Tech in Rosemead. From there went to UC Berkeley, graduated with a bachelors in biochemistry, philosophy and chemistry. Tried to balance it out with study abroad programs in Italy and trips to Spain and Morocco. Before heading to grad school at Stanford University, trekked through Europe for 4 months. Then came serious work, graduated with a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology, and directed a research program in understanding the mechanisms of autoimmune diseases. I've now transitioned to launching a biotech company in the bay area.Next stages of life involved purchasing a place in SF and starting several businesses.
