Foot Prints: A Small Note:Years pass. Relatives, close friends and colleagues come and go.Loved ones die one by one. What would be our LEGACY to the world when we are no more? Our individual footprint to remember us by??I am of the opinion that footprint is not based on wealth, power or career titles for eventually such a life leaves us empty and lost yet always craving for something elusive. The more wealth, power and wordly posessions we amass, the more we desire for yet greater fortunes and possessions. Yet if we stop for just a moment, it is truly the simplest things and moments in life, usually taken so much for granted, that bring about the most happiest of memories and impart a deep sense of inner peace.I believe our footprint stems from the humanity within us - generosity, love, compassion, humility and purity of heart. Every moment where we've used our humanity to touch others in some positive way marks our abstract footprints along our life's journey. Each footstep of our life's journey does not necessarily leave a footprint in life. Yet the footsteps that do leave our marks in the world will, without a doubt, become our personal legacy, long beyond our lives and the lives after us.My Life…….My life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. I'm on a journey to my heart. It isn't easy because I've never been there before. But there are people in my life who show me what loving one's self is all about and are willing to walk beside me through my darkness. They see me completely to my deepest core and allow me to be.Everything is as it should be. There are no accidents. There are no mistakes. There are only lessons to be learned; they're all about love. So my only purpose in life now is to be happy. I'm learning to be patient with myself, relax, and let things be. There's freedom knowing that the Universe takes care of everything, and all I have to do is trust. Every person and situation is a "dot" in my life so I can experience and remember who I really am. I'm truly grateful for my life as it is. I enjoy connecting with people to discover what they really love about their lives. And I love to share dreams and goals, and support my friends in making theirs come true. The far side of me likes to create silly lyrics and go mindless. Life is short--Be happy and be yourself!"Beyond living and dreaming there is something more important: waking up." --Antonio MachadoWho am I....................My name is Prem Kumar, on the morning of 24th June in the year 1960, when the clock showed 5.54 in the morning was the time I entered in this wonderful world, with my eyes closed! The Dream A man lay on his bed at the end of his life waiting to die. His dream came to pay his last respects and bid farewell to the man who had never used it. As it entered the room the man looked down in shame. "Why did you not realise me ?" the dream asked. "Because I was afraid," the man said. "Afraid of what," said the dream. "I was afraid I would fail." "But havent you failed by not attempting to use me?". "Yes I did, but I always thought there would be tomorrow." "You Fool!" said the dream"Did it never occur to you that there was only ever today? the moment that you are in right now? Do you think that now that death is here that you can put it off until tomorrow?". "No". said the man, a tear gently rolling down his cheek. The dream was softer now, because it knew that there were two types of pain, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret, and while discipline weighs ounces , regret weighs weighs pounds. Then the dream leant forward to gently wipe away the tear and said, " You need only have taken the first step and I would have taken one to meet you,for the only thing that ever separated us was the belief in your mind that you couldnt have me". Then they said goodbye and they both died.
