It all started around the age of 5 or 6 in Fairfax City Virginia. When Collin Jackson would wait for his father to come in at night and play guitar for him, this would occur most nights of the week. Since those days his father bought Collin his first guitar, it was a 3/4 size guitar since Collin was only about 8 or 9. Collin Took private lessons for about 6 months and stoped for afew years but still playing occasionally. Until the day his family moved to Loudon County Virginia and enrolled him in Harmony Intermediate School. His spark for playing guitar was ignited, because Harmony had a school Guitar program. Collin was put in an intermediate class because he had experience and knew how to play alittle. Collin met some great people and over the years have shaped his techique and syle of playing. For 4 years he took guitar through the schools, and before school he would sit in the Guitar Locker room of Loudon Valley High School and play guitar with some of his friends. The group of Collin Jackson, Mckay Marcum, Max Richards, Zeik Lutman, Joe Rom, Adrew Sedlins, and Chas Simmons would be sitting in the Guitar room until the bell rings for class. Collin Would either go to the Guitar room or he would go to the Cafeteria in the mornings to be with more of his friends and hang out.
