Giovani vital has always been influenced by music. Born in Cuba march 1975 he was introduced at an early age to Cuban music and Afro Cuban jazz. At age 3 his family moved to Madrid, Spain where he was introduced for the first time to Latin precaution instruments. Coming from a vast background of musicians he continued learning the roots of his heritage while living in Spain for the next 4 years. At the age of 7 his family then moved to Massachusetts where he lived for 4 years and applied what he had learned through out the years. At the age of 11 his older brother introduced him to a friend who was a Dj at the local clubs when he saw his skills on the turn tables he fell in love with the techniques and Dj culture. Learning precaution at an early age was essential to finding his style of mixing techno, tribal house, progressive house and, hard trance. For the next five years he spun in local private parties. At age 16 electronic music was moving up to the massive events local and global. His friend Joel Harris got him to mix a dance tape for promotions at the local underground electronic events. From there he began applying his skills at some of the local raves in and around Massachusetts also playing at clubs like Avalon, officers club and, the loft in Boston, mass where he acquired a residency. Having family in New York City and New Jersey he traveled back and forth spinning at events in Massachusetts and New York. In New York clubs like the tunnel, Twilo, and carbon. In New Jersey Club Tribeca, club one and the college club. In 1996 he decided to move closer to family in New Jersey and to the New York scene. He continued doing local underground shows in the older unused subway systems. In the local electronic event he met Mario Rodriguez who introduced Giovani to studio production and equipment. He began sharpening his producing skills as well as organizing electronic events and working with other companies such as AAP [artistically achieved productions.] in 98 he produced a house track with a friend DJ Spin with vocals from No Doubt artist song[don’t sleep] even though it was a hit we couldn’t get rights to release the remix. So, they released it underground on a white label. They became very popular after the release of the song. We acquired more appearances as Dj in events. shortly after In 1998 his brother that had taught him so much was murdered while driving through Memphis, Then as a truck driver. That put a big toll on Giovani vital and his family but something his brother always told him “never let go of your music†in 1999 he moved to Texas where he meet a lot of people in the local scene and then hooked up with 32 degrees crew and decibel. He did a lot of promotions for them all around Dallas, TX and helped them get lots of people to come to their events. He also got to spin at a lot of their events. From 2000 to 2006 he promoted a lot of different events as well as organize some of his own events with metropolis entertainment, UWM [Unknown World Management Group FL,] club x, after life Dallas and, Dallas united. Events like deep with deep sky on a live pa and connected with four strings. Currently Giovani vital is working on an album with Scott brown [Subtronica Records label] and many others. Also under management with Distinctive Entertainment founded by Orlando Rodriguez. Giovani vital is working on bring back the scene to Dallas working with other big entities it’s not what the scene can do for you but what you can do for it.
