A ’TRUE’ FRIEND STABS YOU IN THE FRONT

About Me

PSK-13 came into the S.P.C. in 1993. His 1st cd "No Ordinary aggiN" was released on Big Tyme Records. He is one of the best rappers in the click, and one of the most versatile. PSK has released 3 solo projects: (No ordinary aggiN, Born Bad, and Flagrant.) He is also a member of the Wreckless Klan. He has also worked with some of the best artists in the business including Destiny’s Child, UGK, Master P, Ice T, Bonecrusha, OutKast, Khujo Goodie, Daz and Kurupt, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Ska Face Al Capone, Southpark Mexican and DJ Screw. PSK grew up in the dead end "South Park" neighborhood and has been in the game for over 10 years. Something his fans may not know is the he was a top athlete in the Houston area and was a scholarship D1 football player also a world class long jumper. He also is a brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and has a new entertainment company called Sh!t Starters Incorporated or SSI for short."

BIOGRAPHY Coming off of the Wreckless Klan’s only release,Blowin’ Up the Scene (BigtymePriority Records. 1997), PSK-13 started a solo career after Klan members Ice Lord and .38 (RIP) were jailed and murdered, respectively. Starting with 1997’s Born Bad? (Bigtyme/Priority), PSK-13 crafted a style mixed with witty rhymes and a hardcore sound, offering brief glimmers of regret between tracks that celebrated the gangsta lifestyle. This sound allowed him to crack markets like Washington D.C. and Cleveland, Ohio. After starting his own Black Monopoly Records, PSK-13 released Pay Like You Weigh, a compilation of singles and new tracks that were mostly produced by himself and Jo Traxx, that featured Trinity Garden Cartel, Lil KeKe, Street Military, Mad Hatta and Slim Thug. The same year he also dropped Flagrant: The Hustle Game Project, Vol. 1, featuring all new songs and guest appearances from his former bandmates Ice Lord and Point Blank, Lil Flex, SkaFace Al Kapone, C-Loc and Z-Ro. He also began to associate with other Texas rappers and producers, including the South Park Mexican and DJ Screw, the latter who introduced PSK-13 to his "screwed" production style way back in 1994. The Bigtyme Records roster holds the dinstinction of being DJ Screw’s first major label release. This involved slowing down tracks to half their speed or more, complimenting the mind-altering drugs that are still so popular on the scene. Adapting to the new production style, PSK became one of the main artists to release albums this way, with most of his releases after Flagrant slowed down and warped to compliment his new approach. This includes the Somethin’ to Lean To series, albums that feature himself as well as associates like the Nightshift Hustlas performing in this way, which by the way sold over 50,000 units. Since then he has collaborated with Point Blank and Wreckless Entertainment to continue the series with Somethin’ to Lean to Pt. 4 Not the Karo, which features Point Blank, PSK-13, 20-2-Life, Bun B, Lil Flip, E-40, 8-Ball, Bonecrusha, Devin, Will Lean, K-Rino, Klondike Kat, Ska Face Al Kapone, Trae, SPC, SUC and many more. - Brad Torreano, MTVI get my Free MySpace Layouts at LayoutStreet.com
