Anna was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. She received Jesus Christ at the age of 19. Although she came from a God fearing family she had to make her own personal decision about her own faith, a door which led her to amazing experiences, right up to the time she wrote songs. One of the outstanding experiences is the nearly fatal incident she mentions in her first album - 'On The Wings Of Grace'. It was at that time that there was a prophesy through one of the servants of God which was foreseeing her death unless there was prayer and intercessions. That faithful man of God had to pray in the night for God to intervene in stopping the angel of death. She did not know about this intercession until after she was involved in a nearly fatal car accident the following day. It was a landmark experience, which made her realise in a deeper way the reality of the presence and God's power of deliverance. Through this experience, she has learned to appreciate life in a different way. She now is determined to take every opportunity to make a difference in the world. She feels her mission is to share her experience with others.Her Christian faith is now the most important part of her life and wants others to experience the same love of God in their lives through His saving grace by accepting Jesus as their lord and saviour. She wants her music to be an instrument through which God touches the lives of others and therefore make a difference in their own lives. Her music is a testimony of what God has done in her life. She believes God will do the same in other people's lives when they put their trust in Him. Anna says she did not have any background in singing until one day in 1991 when God whispered to her that He would make her a singer. She started writing songs, some out of her own experiences with God, which have made her a worshipper of the living God.Putting songs together, was by divine appointment and everybody involved came together in a supernatural and timely manner. All in all Anna has very little else to say about her music except,
"All the glory belongs to God". She believes that God will touch people through her songs most of which are praise and worship in orientation. She has prayed that through every song the purpose and plan of God will be accomplished and hearts and lives will be changed. She believes as the songs sing to the ears, they will also sing to the spirit of man. She has used different styles to appeal to as many people as possible.
