right now I'm focusing on work with my band - kumm - soon to be hitting the studio to record our 5th album. new single "morsa" is out - our first song in romanian in 6 years. also we had some changes going on - drummer csergo dominic is no longer part of kumm after 10 years - thanks for everything and good luck. our new man is paul ballo - a kick-ass drummer from the bucharest indie scene. you will shurely meet him at our upcoming gigs.my first solo album "sex with onions" is produced by mihai antonescu & gigi catrina for roadrunner music records. 12 tracks, mostly in english but some in romanian, featuring many guests - like drummers forrest (from ZOB) and tavi scurtu (BAU, iordache), singer marius moise (of the moood) and also my friends and teammates from KUMM : iordache (sax) and csergo dominic (this time on vibraphone).
i spend a great time recording with gigi catrina at next dog studios and also got an awesome mastering from cristian varga at mastervargas.com in the usa. hope you enjoy the tracks
and if you're one of the last CD - collectors (a species soon to be extinct) I'm sure you'll apreciate the great artwork by oana marinica (scrap design) and dan vezentan (new folder).
we had a great "once in a lifetime" concert at the silver church in bucuresti - with a little help from my friends : alexei turcan - guitar/keys/accordion, felix andrei - bass and forrest - drums. with the help of cristi enache (totalimage) we will soon show you some videos from the show.
