Hello...Been on the Rockin' scene for years, also been a Dj for 28 years on the scene at all of the main weekenders in the UK & Europe - also worked at the Viva Las Vegas.In 1979 I started Djing at a place called the Miama Bar with a mate called Colin Shippo (R.I.P.)playing early Northern Soul & Tamla, R&b....all "Oldies"...not the other Soul that should be at dodgy 1970's disco's (what's that all about?)..used to have some good times back in the day and a lot of my mates formed the Britannia S.C.I used to Dj on a Saturday at Rock City in the early
1980's....playing R&B, Northern Soul, Physcobilly, Ska...and in 1987 I moved to Birmingham and did a club called Boogies...moved down south in 1988 and ran a few clubs down in London & Guest Dj'd at most of the London Rockin' clubsI was also one of the main Dj's at the Hemsby weekenders working there from 1988 until 2005 - playing every May and October, I was also one of the founder Dj's for the Rhythm Riot weekender for the last 8 years.Also I have Dj'd at a couple of Viva Las Vegas weekenders in 1998 & 1999...since then I have regulary been playing most of Europe including: Germany,Belgium,Norway,Switzerland,Italy,HollandAt one point I was listed as "Europe's Top Rhythm & Blues Dj"....but you never should believe what you read, especially on flyers...LOLI was living near London for the last 20 years, due to a personal situation change I moved back to Nottingham - make a new start and all that.Into 1950's Rhythm & Blues,Blues Boppers, Rock 'n' Roll, Western Swing, Hillbilly & all types of original 50's music, also into 1960's Northern Soul (Oldies),also Ska, Classic cars, motorbikes & collecting / selling classic biker leathers.
