MY VCD : workshop n.1 "BASIC OF MODERN DRUMMING"MASSIMO DURACCIO was born a child of the 60's...the age of creativity!:)He received his first diploma from J.TOMADINI'S ACCADEMY OF CLASSICAL MUSIC.With this diploma in hand Masimo begain to tour with the HYDN PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA trought-out Europe.Switzerland..Germany..France and his native country Italy.
Soon after Massimo begain to study the art of Jazz with BILLY CHOBAM at the B.C. SCHOOL OF JAZZ and later with the great drummer and composer ROBERTO GATTO.
After this Massimo begain to play with RENATO SELLANI.
While in the U.S.A., he received a degree with honors from the MUSICIANS INSTITUTE OF LOS ANGELES (california).His study included form,style and technique with artist such as JOE PORCARO,Where he picked up his rhythmes in jazz.While RALPH HUMPHREY AND ENZO TODESCO showed him the art of FUSION drumming.EFRAIN TORO and STEVE HUNGTON gave him drive in LATIN music and BIG BAND.
Massimo continued his studies by taking private lessons from DAVE WECKL, TOM BRECLEIN and ALEX ACUNA.
Massimo now luves, works and plays in BANGKOK, THAILAND, organizing musicians for clubs and concerts.
He also gives private lessons and is always creating new and interesting ways of passing on his knowlege of drumming to you.
