About Me

My full name is Joseph J. Ruiz de Chavez. The "J." doesn't stand for anything. It's just the letter "J." I was born in Yokota Air Force Base in Japan. I'm half Mexican, quarter Korean and quarter Japanese. I have one younger brother, Ray. He's great! I love being outdoors. On my nights off, I usually go out to PB, hang around the gaslamp or just relax at home. I love the beaches and the wonderful weather! I work in downtown SD and I live in the college area. I love dogs, but I hate cats... I kick them when nobody's watching.. I hate traffic and people who change lanes without signaling. I'm all about having a great time! I have great friends and a great family. If you know me, you know how much I rule.

My Interests

Going to the beach, snowboarding, Yeager, clubbing, Downtown, pb, Vegas, traveling, riding the bike, watching movies, meeting new people, etc.

I'd like to meet:

My family tree from way, way back. I've always wondered who my great great great grandparents were. They probably ruled a country. I wouldn't be surprised if I came from royalty.

Music:

Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Linkin Park, Modest Mouse, Three Days Grace, Sublime, Chevelle, The Strokes, Hot Hot Heat, Fall out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack etc...

Movies:

Dumb & Dumber is the all time stupidest movie!!!.. But i Love it! The Last Samurai, Gladiator, and The Butterfly Effect were all great movies... Napoleon Dynamite falls into the same category as Dumb & Dumber. Oh, and ofcourse, Anchor Man and Wedding Crashers.

Television:

I usually watch courtTV or spike, but I don't really follow any TV shows. America's Most Wanted and Scarred on MTV are pretty cool too.

Books:

I'm reading Fly Boys by James Bradley right now. It's interesting. I recommend it to any history inspired, action/adventure seeking, WWII enthusiast.
