Our Mission Statement:

"WCER is a profound broadcasting ministry of touching hearts, through radio, combining the word of God, clearly taught, with today's issues-oriented talk shows."
It is WCER's commission, by God, to warn all northeast-Ohio Americans, that are in 900 AM's clear-channel broadcasting signal, about the ongoing threat to our faith, our family, and our freedoms...offering Biblically based solutions to America's deepest problems.
WCER is committed to keeping our listeners informed - not just warned, but inspired, to keep living for God - through our airwaves.
WCER - 900 AM is making HIS love available...making the GOSPEL clear, and expressing HIS prophetic plan to the millions who cast their eyes uneasily towards the future.
People today are more uptight and full of anxiety, about "what is going to happen," than at any other point in our lifetime.

History:

900 AM in Canton, Ohio signed on the air in September of 1947 as WAND. It became WCNS and later WNYN (country) in the 1960s, WTOF (religious) in 1985, and WBXT (urban) in 1988. The station was off the air for awhile before being purchased by current GM Jack Ambrozic and partner Leodis Harris, and signed back on the air in 1992. The WCER call letters were originally on 1390/Charlotte, Michigan, and stood for "Charlotte/Eaton Rapids". The call letters also landed on a station in Indiana in the 80s before being brought to 900 in 1992 as "Canton's Entertainment Radio", later "Where Christ Ever Reigns", and now "We're Christian Education Radio".
