With subject matter ranging from holdin’ down the corner to lovin the ladies, a smooth stop-start flow, and a charisma not found in many Pronoun is next on the short list of artists to become a household name.
As one-third of the group "Durtee Unit" Pronoun cut his teeth in Los Angeles’ 1990’s underground freestyle & battle rap circuit. An alumni of such classic venues as "The Good Life", "Club Elements", "Project Blowed", and "The Key Club" with a reputation for turning ciphers into a literal one man show Pronoun became a regular guest on the nationally syndicated "Wake-Up Show" hosted by MTV’s Sway and his partner King Tec eventually earning him a spot on their 1999 Interscope Release "This or That".
As a performer Pronoun has perfected his craft. Showcased in numerous venues along side the likes of KRS-One, Slum Village, The Black-Eyed Peas, Xzibit, Jon B, and Next, and has also been a featured performer at Los Angeles radio station 100.3 The Beat’s Summer Jam.
Further expanding his musical growth Pronoun is also featured on multi-platinum rap/rock group "Crazy Town’s" debut album "The Gift of Game" (Sony 1999) with the song "Think Fast" and is credited as a songwriter on their 2002 Sony release Dark Horse.
With the stage set for the next class of artists to stake their claim in an ever-changing musical landscape Pronoun is preparing for the release of his latest project, 2007’s "Mr. Automatic mixtape: volume one".
