About Me

For any passers-by who are interested in how I have become who I am, I have just posted my previous "About Me" in my blog for your reading pleasure. The entire point of moving it from here to my blog was to make this paragraph a little less formidable...so I guess I'll try to make this installment a bit more brief. The previous one is pretty daunting, so I don't blame you if you choose to spend 10 minutes of your precious cyber-life doing something more productive (go Wiki "star formation.")About Me: At any given moment in time, I am on the verge of spontaneous combustion. I find life to be so stimulating, so provoking, and so engaging, that I have no choice but to seize all of it's interactive opportunities. I cannot mask my enthusiasm, and am usually the last one awake and the sweatiest one on the dance floor. My family, is delightfully unorthodox, and we relish our eccentricities. I have a very intimate love affair with music. I still bite my nails and do Mad Libs. I recently moved to Berkeley to attend the University, and I think that this city and I are establishing a lovely symbiotic relationship. Coffee and forests are among my several vices. I'm obsessed with sharing experiences with friends. I seldom feel more triumphant than when I beat someone at Scrabble. I'm usually thinking about 4896 things at once. Sometimes I have bright red hair.

My Interests

Where to start...Music: production (my main passion and interest lying in electronica: ambient, trance & psitrance, experimental, eclectrica) soundtracks, singing, playing keyboards/piano, composition, digital music production, hand drumming, discovering new GREAT artists. Paranormal Activity: crop circles, ufos/alien encounters, abductions, monuments (esp. the pyramids @ Giza), Obelisks, "myths." Einstein's Theory of Relativity: Someday I'll understand. String Theory: Ditto. Global Cultures: Indiginous peoples and their realities, environments, beliefs, etc. Political Science: Why is the world going to shit and who's going to save it? Philosophy: Who (What) are we, where (when) did we come from, and where (when) are we going? Why does life kick so much ass? How can I help other peoples lives kick ass? Dancing: I am currently learning "hip-hop" dance (which is hilarious for those who are watching) and I love dancing to almost all kinds of music at clubs, in my car, in the street, or wherever. I especially like trance, house, and electronica, and find raves to be the shit (No, I would not like some exctacy, thank you). I am also interested in trying to help other people realize that life isn't about money, and money isn't about happiness. Money is about being able to live with the certain degree of freedom (which is much more difficult under this regime) that is necessary for you to live your truth. But we can do that with or without our fucking currency (we're not backed by gold anymore anyway, rememeber). General: Sipping gin & tonics while watching people indulge themselves in arbitrary interaction. Walking into coffee shops where there is music playing that I have never heard and the cacophony of (attempted and accomplished) intelligent conversations drifting around. Bioluminescence. Binary code. Bisexuals. Riding horses. Native american poetry. Young, hairy writers who live in second floor apartments above commercial business places fascinate me. I love staying up all night, and do it as much as I can. Abductees. Finding Atlantis. Trying to figure out how we got our moon. Listening to good jazz while driving through big cities. Child prodigies. Prodigies. Prodigy. Vagabonds. Porn. Biting my nails. Dying my hair stoplight red. Listening to trance REALLY loud while driving down/up the coast at sunset. Finding myself. Losing myself. Winning debates. Playing the Devil's advocate just to find out how smart the person that I'm talking to really is. The best feeling ever is going home and being home. Taking mushrooms in the middle of the forest or on the beach. Believing that most of the history of the world is unknown...and, laughingly, that most myths are probably - at their core - true accounts from prehistory. I don't understand cordless phones. 2012. Remote Viewing. Uri Geller. George Orwell. Las Vegas at 3:00 a.m. I want to live overseas so badly...I want to spend a decent amount of time in Ibiza, Ireland, Bangkok, Beijiing, Tokyo, India, Greece, any and all parts of South America, EGYPT. Spending as much time with my father as possible while in this body and this existence. He is the most amazing person I, and many people, have ever met. He is my best friend. Writing in my journal. Flying over New York City while listening to Ani Di Franco or Paul Oakenfold. Philosophizing with those who make me dissect everything I think I know. Fantasizing about men who have no idea that they are so intruiging. Writing about people in airports (this is a dear favorite.) Salvidor Dali is one of my favorite minds (or lack thereof.) Michele Kelly rocks my world. Reading a good book, drinking wine, and smoking cigarettes on a nice afternoon or evening. Taking photographs of things that make me wonder or stand still in amazement. Great massages. Great chocolate. Great sex. Great people. Enya dude, Enya.
