myspaceeditor.itSISTO FEROLI Guitar player and composer, he was born in Taranto in 1967. His father teaches him the first steps in guitar playing. At the age of 12 his first performance in his native town in presence of 2000 people. He studies classical guitar in Rome with M° Claudio de Angelis. A great passion for jazz music leads him to attend specialised courses such as those of Mick Goodrick in Ravenna, Umbria Jazz clinics in Perugia, where he also has the chance of playing with Phil Woods. He exhibits with italian jazz musicians such as Tullio de Piscopo, Romano Mussolini and Giulio Capiozzo. In 1992 he graduates in classical guitar at the conservatorio G.B. Martini in Bologna. Sisto Feroli's musics have been interpreted by musicians like Eugenio Becherucci, Antonio Cipriani, Giorgio Ravenna, Behnam Samani, Gianna Spagnulo and Alessandro Alessandroni. Always with Alessandroni he has recorded for the label Crippled Dick Hot Wax (Berlin). Sisto Feroli’s music is edited by APbeat (Rome). ______________ MARCO AQUILANI Marco Aquilani was born in 1978 in Viterbo, Italy. He started to study guitar at the age of 13 with his teacher Sisto Feroli and then, from the age of 16, he started to play with him in theatres and jazz clubs. He also attended courses with Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Trilok Gurtu. He was playing from the first edition in the music festival “Chitarre fuori dal tempo”. Always with Sisto Feroli he recorded four live cd also with classical musicians like Eugenio Becherucci, Giorgio Ravenna, Antonio Cipriani and important interpreters of music for movies like Alessandro Alessandroni, Gianna Spagnulo as well as the persian virtuoso percussionist Behnam Samani and many others. He teaches guitar and music theory in the Cultural Association En To Pan and in other music schools.
