About Me
Family Life
Christopher Maurice Brown was born on May 5, 1989 in a town of Tappahannock, in Virginia populated at around 2000 people.
He is one of two siblings born to Clinton Brown and Joyce Hawkins. Brown was in love with music from an early age, ever since he could hear the music his parents played in the home radio. It's no surprise if numerous musicians of the 80s influenced his music; ranged from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, to Aretha Franklin.
At the age of 17, he has done things that most musicians don't have the chance to at the same age. He has launched his own album, written and sung his songs, co-directed his own videos, ended in double platinum, and traveled around the globe to smash another record of music tour, done by a not-yet licensed teen singer.Schools
He used to go to a public school in Virginia, but since he could no longer attend common schools due to his hectic schedule, he got home schooling with a tutor who taught him 2-3 hours in the mornings.Road to Fame

When he was 13, a local production team discovered him. They accidentally found his talent. Chris then moved to NYC and stayed there for two years, in order to began his singing career. Later, it turned out that he is a multitalented person. Aside from his songwriting and singing, he is also keen on dancing.
At around that time, his production team arranged an audition before his soon-to-be manager, Tina Davis. At that time, Davis was the vice president of Def Jam.

His next hits, "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" became Brown's second top 10 hit in the U.S, soared at #7 and #13 in the UK.
His third "Gimme That", produced by Scott Storch finally soared to US Billboard Hot 100 at #15. His fourth, "Say Goodbye" was included in the "Step Up" movie Soundtrack. It has climbed up to #10, being Brown's third single to peak at the top 10 US Billboard.Other Performances
