About Me

Casperian Books is an independent publishing company located in Sacramento, California. We publish great books in a variety of genres by authors who have no interest in being published by mainstream publishers.
We are ardent supporters of small business and creative guerrilla movements, whether they be in publishing, music, or film, and we believe in diverse voices, different viewpoints, and departures from the status quo. Most of all, we believe in good books.

(For the record, Casperian Books is actually an "it", a limited liability company run by yours truly with regular contributions of labor from three or four other people, all of it more or less pro bono. Since we've only been around about two years, COPA won't allow me to put our real "birthday" in the appropriate fields either, so I'm going with Armistice Day, just because I've always liked the last chapter of All Quiet on the Western Front.)
