I'd like to meet:
Everybody Knows Something
Those three simple words inspired me to come up with the idea for creating a group of Skill Sharers® . I figured, everybody knows something or other that's of value to somebody else, and the Internet's got to be the best way of finding out who these people are.
So, who decides exactly how useful these ideas are?
Well, the answer to that question is you! That's right! By having access to a whole spectrum of people and their ideas, or indeed having a talent or skill of your own to share, you become part of an invaluable and unlimited knowledge bank. A place where you can make a great difference.

Below is an example of the kind of ways people could be sharing their knowledge and skills...
Sharing skills is by no means a new way to getting the job done, as this 'community spirit' of sharing tasks to secure a common goal has been with us since the dawn of time.
Joint venturing or Leveraging as it is commonly known among those who practice it, is fast becoming the method of choice for those with an entrepreneurial spirit, to make the most of any project they choose to undertake.
Below are a couple of examples of leveraging...
Example 1: Joint Venture
(non-monetary scenario)
An early
retiree and competent gardener decides to set up a small business. He's good at all there is to do with plants, borders, etc, but absolutely hopeless with business office administration.
New mother, recent of 5 months, has excellent office admin skills but her large garden has been going untended, for obvious reasons.
The answer is practically screaming out, isn't it?
Yes, they leverage and share their skills. Not only does the young mother have an opportunity to continue honing her administration skills, whilst still in the comfort of her own home, she also has her very own garden 'makeover' in the process.
The gardener? Well, not only does he get to do what he loves best... he also gets his administration done and can begin getting his business off and running.
And who's to say it has to stop there?
Our 'mom' can now let her friends and acquaintances know about the gardener, and in turn he can let his friends know about an administrator who can be of great help to them and their activities.
Simple yet extremely effective. That's the beauty of this win-win situation.
Example 2: Joint Venture
(monetary scenario - no upfront fee)
1. First-time author is looking for a way to transfer her voice-recorded notes to written format.
2. Skilled audio-typist is looking for a way to create some extra revenue, and is adept at transcribing voice recordings into MS Word format.
By working together, the voice recordings are transcribed, reviewed and subsequently edited to create an e-book.
The benefit of their co-operation? They jointly share the profits of all e-book sales.
As you can see, whether small or large, leveraging shared skills, knowledge or resources can make a world of difference to your projects or add real-world experience to your existing knowledge bank.
Just a single idea that -- to be perfectly honest with you -- could relate to virtually anything...
Your hobbies or interests...
Your career or job...
Your family relationships...
Your civic involvements...
Your pets...Your medical history...
Your travel experiences...
Your life achievements...
Your parenting insights...
Your goals and aspirations...Your feelings and emotions...
Your love life (or lack thereof)...
Your health and well-being...
Or, it could be an idea that doesn't have anything to do with you at all! Something a friend told you was popular... Something that you saw on the cover of a magazine... Some trend that was talked about on the evening news... Or some new technology that's been released.
It could be anything...
Scottish Terriers...
Battling Depression...
Radio-Controlled Cars...
Traveling to Orlando...
Chicken Recipes...Selling Used Books...
Buying a Car...
Hunting and Fishing...
Reducing Stress...
Kitchen Design...Homeschooling...
Having a Yard Sale...
Surfing the Internet...
Playing Golf...
Single Parenting...Gardening...
Getting a Pay Raise...
Losing Weight...
... And that single idea CAN be converted into the lifestyle that you've been expecting for so long.
Most people go about things the hard way, when it isn't nearly as difficult as all that! Sure, there are a lot of things that go into creating a project but that's the whole reason behind this profile.
A 'living' library that never closes.
What this means is, for each and everyone who joins the Global Webcrafters® group, there'll be a solution to whatever problem or project you may have.
This is your best opportunity to get 'your own' projects (and self development) under way very quickly simply because there'll always be others ready and willing to assist you in achieving all your goals and ambitions, or who will require your help in their own particular ventures. Together everyone can succeed through the power of community.
Don't waste another minute letting your skills or your 'project' stagnate further. With your assistance we can establish one heck of a group of 'skill-sharers'.
Like-minded people who either have an idea they'd like to take to fruition or are in possession of essential skills and experience they're willing to share, in order to help others to succeed.
This supportive group of individuals will collectively be known as Global Webcrafters® .
There are literally tens of thousands of individuals; fundraisers, small business owners, homeworkers and stay-at-home mums, affiliates, entrepreneurs, etc, urgently in need of ready access to necessary resources that can help to develop their ideas, activities or businesses and ultimately, their lifestyles.
Gobal Webcrafters® guarantee...
...whenever a 'friend' needs help, no matter what the nature, Global Webcrafters® will make sure that there'll always be someone, somewhere nearby who can give them the help needed.
So there you have it. Nothing complicated, just a simple example of individuals working together to help each other overcome what may first seem like difficult tasks.
If you’ve got a project you're desperately trying to get going or a talent or skill that you want to share with others, I'd like to hear from you.
I've already been contacted by project leaders currently looking for individuals with the following 'skills sets'. Could you or someone you know be what they're looking for?

No One Ever Makes It Alone
The inspirational story behind this famous painting
B ack in the fifteenth century, in a tiny village near Nuremberg, lived a family with eighteen children. Eighteen!
I n order merely to keep food on the table for this big family, the father and head of the household, a goldsmith by profession, worked almost eighteen hours a day at his trade and any other paying chore he could find in the neighbourhood.
D espite their seemingly hopeless condition, two of Albrecht Durer the Elder's children had a dream. They both wanted to pursue their talent for art, but they knew full well that their father would never be financially able to send either of them to Nuremberg to study at the academy.
A fter many long discussions at night in their crowded bed, the two boys finally worked out a pact. They would toss a coin. The loser would go down into the nearby mines and, with his earnings, support his brother while he attended the academy. Then, when that brother who won the toss completed his studies, in four years, he would support the other brother at the academy, either with sales of his artwork or, if necessary, also by labouring in the mines.
T hey tossed a coin on a Sunday morning after church. Albrecht Durer won the toss and went off to Nuremberg.
A lbert went down into the dangerous mines and, for the next four years, financed his brother, whose work at the academy was almost an immediate sensation. Albrecht's etchings, his woodcuts, and his oils were far better than those of most of his professors, and by the time he graduated, he was beginning to earn considerable fees for his commissioned works.
W hen the young artist returned to his village, the Durer family held a festive dinner on their lawn to celebrate Albrecht's triumphant homecoming. After a long and memorable meal, punctuated with music and laughter, Albrecht rose from his honoured position at the head of the table to drink a toast to his beloved brother for the years of sacrifice that had enabled Albrecht to fulfil his ambition. His closing words were, "And now, Albert, blessed
brother of mine, now it is your turn. Now you can go to Nuremberg to pursue your dream, and I will take care of you."
A ll heads turned in eager expectation to the far end of the table where Albert sat, tears streaming down his pale face, shaking his lowered head from side to side while he sobbed and repeated, over and over, "No ...no ..no."
F inally, Albert rose and wiped the tears from his cheeks. He glanced down the long table at the faces he loved, and then, holding his hands close to his right cheek, he said softly, "No, brother. I cannot go to Nuremberg. It is too late for me. Look ... look what four years in the mines have done to my hands! The bones in every finger have been smashed at least once, and lately
I have been suffering from arthritis so badly in my right hand that I cannot even hold a glass to return your toast, much less make delicate lines on parchment or canvas with a pen or a brush. No, brother ... for me it is too late."
M ore than 450 years have passed. By now, Albrecht Durer's hundreds of masterful portraits, pen and silver point sketches, water-colours, charcoals, woodcuts, and copper engravings hang in every great museum in the world, but the odds are great that you, like most people, are familiar with only one of Albrecht Durer's works. More than merely being familiar with it, you very well may have a reproduction hanging in your home or office.
O ne day, to pay homage to Albert for all that he had sacrificed, Albrecht Durer painstakingly drew his brother's abused hands with palms together and thin fingers stretched skyward. He called his powerful drawing simply "Hands" but the entire world almost immediately opened their hearts to his great masterpiece and renamed his tribute of love,
"The Praying Hands."
T he next time you see a copy of that touching creation, take a second look. Let it be your reminder, if you still need one, that no one - no one - ever makes it alone!
