Seit April 2006 Ja findet in Hildesheim der Rockabilly Frühschoppen statt. Jeden ersten Samstag im Monat versammelt sich eine trinkfreudige Gesellschaft um den Klängen der guten alten Zeit zu lauschen. Zu Beginn der Veranstaltung wurde die Musik "nur" aufgelegt doch mittlerweile kann sich das Publikum im monatlichen Wechsel an Live-Musik erfreuen.Wie der Name schon sagt reicht das musikalische repertoire von Rockabilly über Country bis hin zu Boogie, Jive, Doowop und ähnliches.

since April 2006 i..ve organised Rockabilly Früschoppen in a local boozer in Hildesheim every first Saturday of the month,a get together of drink happy guys and gals who want to hear rockabilly,countryswing,jive and boppin boogie. I started with just music and ten friends and now every month i organise live bands , and on march 3th 2007 we were at about one hundred party boppers, now i..ve moved to a bigger,better location and every month the "now "rockabilly family !! is growing and growing !!so join the fun and games and don.t be silly Rockabilly!!...in Hildesheim ....STEWART(Big bad boozer)in the "TorHaus" Oster strasse....
in 2009 we are branching out, with bands from the USA to AUSTRALIA!!that means Rockabilly Frühschoppen goes GLOBAL!!
NEWSFLASH this June we are having a SUMMER SPECIAL!!with two bands ,SKINNY JIM and the NO 9 BOYS plus HOT WIRE!!both for 5€ entry!!!
