Having dedicated most of her life to film making, this page is dedicated to her activity in the realm of Fine Arts. Among various courses completed in both fields: Theatre Arts
(National Conservatory of Lisbon), Cinema (National Conservatory of Lisbon), Painting - "Escola Nacional de Belas Arts", Sculpture - "Belas Arts", Painting - at A.R.C.O. etc.
Graça excelled as she apprenticed with painters (Júlio Pomar, João Vieira, Artur Bual, etc. as she completed her diploma at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon - "Belas Arts") having served as "Model for them throughout the years - please view the following notes about her...Graça – Fine Arts

- born in the village of Tondela (district of Viseu - Portugal) in 1954.
Her education in Fine Arts came from schools: Escola Superior de Belas Artes, and Arco
(having specialized in both fields - Painting and Sculpture).
Both are reknown schools of Fine Arts
located in Lisbon.She has always drawn and painted, but only under the pretence of bringing joy into her life
and that of her friends.As a professional, she has dedicated close to 30 years of her life to the world of Cinema
and the making of films.In the year 2000 she decided to come forth and imancipate herself as a painter forthright,
having a show hosted at the restaurant “Põe-te na Bichaâ€, an exhibit entitled
“TONS DA TERRAâ€
(“Earth Tones†/ can also be translated into “Earth Soundsâ€, “Tones from Earthâ€, etc.):
in reference to the exhibit (“TONS DA TERRA†) –
“ An Art Exhibit that displays a dominance of motifs that are abstract yet thematically evocative of subject matter relative to the proposed atmosphere. Brown and ochre hues executed by a confidant, strong and sure hand that
reveals the maturity of the artist.â€

In the same year her work was displayed in a collective of artists at the Carpe Diem Gallery/Concert Hall,
in the town of Feijó. The theme for the Exhibit was – “Marias†(Maria in plural form)
in 2001, her work was displayed in a collective of artists hosted (by a Portuguese gallery owner)
in Miami (USA).
In July, 2002 she has a show at ISPA (Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada – Institute for High
Studies in Applied Psychology - college) in Lisbon with the theme – “Mulher†(“Femaleâ€).
In the month of October, in the same year, she has another show under the theme “Cem Medosâ€
(“No Fears / One Hundred Fears * Cem being a homonym of Sem – signifying without or no, yet meaning 100)
She also has a new show at the Livraria – Galeria – Café Cultural – Bairro Alto, in Lisbon.
Her work has been displayed since then in various other shows (i.e. Estoril ...) and can be found in a variety of private and public collections.
