Gunnar Andreas Berg has contributed to the Norwegian music scene in many ways the past 30 years as a guitarist, songwriter/composer, producer and Record company manager. Educated at Troendelag Musikkonservatorium and Berklee College of music in Boston USA, he has played on countless recordings as a band member and a session mucician. He has released 4 records under his own name, Snowdawn (1980 / Arctic Records), Supernatural (1993 / Norsk Plateproduksjon), The Music Machine (1996 / Curling legs) and Music read in teeth and claws (2008 / Bergland). In 2000 he started the Record company Bergland Productions , signing artists like Siri Gjaere and award winning Urban Connection to name a few. Gunnar is also an associate Professor at the Department of Music, NTNU, Norway and has contributed building up the renowned Jazz Programme in Trondheim. Latest he has collaborated with the Cuban group Yoruba Andabo playing jazz festivals in Cuba and Norway. An album from this project, "Music read in teeth and claws" was released september 29th!
