Hello, my name is Elliot, and by Christ's grace I have been made free from the burdensome weights and pains of sin that have previously separated me from the beautiful, perfect, unfathomable, loving, accepting, uplifting, presence of my God, my Savior, my King! Yes, now I love Him with my whole heart as best as I can. I want everything about me to praise-this is the reason I believe I have been so individually fashioned, so He can simply look down and smile. Amen.I am a very deep thinker. I am very delicate to learn and explore God's splendorous fabrications of life. I am intrigued at what makes us the way we are. I think this strong quality can often share it's pro's and cons.If you locked me in a closest with a guitar, pen, and paper for eternity, I believe I would be completely content. Yes, my guitar generally goes with me wherever I go. I am currently involved at Southeastern University. In worship, I believe telling/showing others of the love of Christ is fully nessesary. I am not perfect, yet with the best of my ability I am trying and growing more with each day. SEU has provided and wonderful base for me to prepare, practice, and persue these dreams. Although my primary major is a business title, my life passion is to be forever in the house of God to use my giftings for the furtherance of His praise.I often close my eyes and smile, because I am aware that God is diligently preparing my heart as He is preparing her, my love, ( whether I have met her or not) for a complete joy, a constant struggle, yet the beautiful love creation God his designed after His own heart and relentless love. Help us God to remain focused, patient, and sober at mind.

My Interests

I thoroughly enjoy reading while I often wish I could find more time to do so. I can often be caught playing my guitar for hours on end. I thoroughly enjoy jamming with people who are better than me, or maybe I could teach you a thing or two ;) I enjoy spending personal time with people of vision and therefore purpose-particularly for the Kingdom of God. I enjoy eating. Exercise and staying fit makes me so happy! Good Coffee is a very close friend of mine. I am interested in understanding the mysteries of the graciousness of my Father in Heaven.

Music:

Wow, this is going to be a big one. I appreciate a vast variety of musical contraptions, many of which I am teased for but that's okay. I enjoy the intricate intensity of "New Grass" I.E. Nickle Creek is the best!! I am often caught raging with the screaming choruses of Destroy the Runner, Pillar, Underoath, Falling Up, Showbread, Project 86, old school A Dream Too Late, and this unheard of guy name Misha Mansoor. I am always found grooving with jazzy/poppy/acoustical enthusiasts like Jason Mraz, Shawn MacDonald, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer. Oh yes, I still appreciate Logan Martin. I am always in my element with great worship songwriters like Ruben Morgan, Shane and Shane, Hillsong, Jason Upton, Misty Edwards, and Generation Unleashed. Basic Guitar on the knee worship always tops all. I have always been a fan of Michael W. Smith-although the late 80's and 90's were definitely his time, I still look up to this guy. He was definitely one of my original musical inspirations-and yes he still is. Dc TaLk will always have a place in my heart along with good ol' Carman, Amy Grant, and Avalon. (If you haven't already guessed, these are the ones I get the most trouble for :P I also have a hungry ear for the classical arrangements of Stravinky, Claude Debussy, John Williams, and yes Michael W. Smith. I also enjoy certain styles of rap including Manifest, John Ruben, old school Dc TaLk and Pillar, KJ-52, Grits, etc. Some real flavors of the season include The Send, Ruth, The Almost, John Mark, Markus, and more and more to come :) Music is a part of me. The End.

Anything by Frank Peretti. Brain McLaren, Dave Ramsey offers some pretty useful concepts to to table. Craig Groeschel. The Words of God top all!!!

Heroes:

My Lord, my Hero, the only Hero who has ever been known to sacrifice His own life for the ones who need Him most and then come back from the dead so I can love Him forever. There is truly no greater Hero!
