BABYDOLL Baby Doll is a promising artist that is on her way to being the next big thing in the Reggae industry, with hits such as "Dutty Jam", "Move to di Riddim", and "Man Pleaser.” Baby Doll, meaning a cute baby face with the body of a doll was born Terry McFarlane on October 4, 1987 in St. James Montego Bay Jamaica. A young aspiring individual that was told it was not possible for her to be an artist considering the successors in her family where each individual believed that if you weren’t pursuing to be a doctor, nurse, lawyer or a police officer, it didn’t make sense to put effort in. As a young girl she grew up listening to the songs of Dancehall leading female artists such as Lady Saw, Patra, Tanya Stephens and many more which ultimately inspired her to go after her childhood dream which is to be a female deejay. She interested in setting new trends for females in the Reggae music and dancing industry. As a child she loved the attention of the audience which is why she took part in many fashion and talent shows. Also she was very athletic growing up participating in Soccer and Track and Field, with her determination to be successful; she was awarded Champion Girl for the West in 1999. Dancing and performing for family and friends was something that she always enjoyed at family gatherings. Since then she knew that one day she would be the individual that inspire others like herself to achieve greatness regardless of what others think. It has been only a year since she decided to become a deejay and already she is making a lot of noises in the Dancehall community. BabyDoll has been working with an array of producers that will help her execute her trendy style of music and dancing to the industry to the fullest of her ability. She is also a member of a dance group called "Fantasy Dolls" in which she is the lead Dancer.
