Drummer...kinda....
Currently (since 1998 actually, when I began playing drums) involved in my own band Eld. On the far side of Eld I sing/scream/do grumpy voice tricks in a band called Chaoskult, a band which is firmly planted on the darker side of the industrial/electro spectrum. I Also joined Oslo-based Den Saakaldte in summer of 2007.
I have over the years played, recorded and toured for and with Forlorn, Gehenna and up until fall 2007 Aeternus. Eld however is THE band I am focusing on as my whole history of drumming has been defined alongside this very band.
I started out with blackmetal but have the last years moved into the crossways between death and black given my ever growing quest for being a better drummer and this is basically the one "subgenre" where I find most leeway for developing both speed, stamina and technique. I live for playing live, thus studiotime is not really my happytime so to speak, but it's needed to get the work done!
Since leaving Aeternus I am at the moment looking for a band in the same vein (black/death) to join, or even start up something new. Main focus - liveshows!
