Mr Fonebone

Since Mr Fonebone was founded by Mr Antti Rissanen (mr bone) and Mr Mikko Innanen (mr fone) in Helsinki, Finland in 1994, it has been one of the innovative jazz groups in the Finnish scene. It is built of five individual jazz comets, award winning players, who all present the new Finnish jazz generation of the 90s.The musical roots are based in the 60’s when the modal, high energy playing, made its way in jazz music. Add a freedom of expression and influences from the Finnish folk music and the cocktail is ready.
