As humans, it behooves us to use this arrangement to our advantage...THE CHEETAHThere are those who simply accept themselves and their own character. These ones may or may not be conscious of their design; regardless, they will ALWAYS: think, act, and react the way they have in the past. Set in their ways, they believe no one really changes and thus are less likely to acknowledge their flaws or attempt to better themselves. This mindset is often the cause of obstinateness, immaturity, or negligence. They have patterned thinking, action/ reaction and are quick in all 3 respects. I call these ones the cheetahs.
..THE CATERPILLARThen there are those who accept themselves, acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses, and CHOOSE the characteristics they would like to keep (or discard for that matter). Though difficult, they strive to improve and refine themselves as individuals. These ones wholeheartedly believe in personal growth and balance and thus are more disposed to being genuinely happy. This mindset is perpetuated by veracity, humility, and rumination. I call these ones caterpillars.
..THE TRUTHNeither temperament is flawless. Both mentalities are subject to imperfection. Bluntly, we ALL make mistakes. Naturally, they differ on perspective.EXAMPLE 1: The cheetah rationalizes mistakes/ flaws saying: "thats just me" or "thats how i deal with things."EXAMPLE 2: The caterpillar acknowledges mistakes/ flaws saying: "how can I make this better" or "what can i do to change."Even so, acknowledging a mistake, fault, or flaw is only the first step to correction and/or self-improvement however, it IS a step.Conscientiously or subconsciously, every person DECIDES their own position. Whatever your thinking may be, keep this in mind: the cheetah never changes its spots BUT the caterpillar always becomes a butterfly. (Or a moth if you want to get technical but you get the point!
